- During a transaction: information you, your lender, your real estate agent or other parties provide so we can examine title, issue title insurance and close your transaction, which may include nonpublic personal information such as account numbers.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, open and work your title file, issue title insurance, conduct your closing, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
How we share it
We share personal information only as needed to provide our services or as the law requires, including with:
- Parties to your transaction, such as your lender, real estate agents, and other settlement service providers;
- Our title insurance underwriter;
- Service providers that support our work, including our website host (Netlify), which receives and stores website form submissions, under obligations to protect the information; and
- Government agencies, regulators, or courts when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect it
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect nonpublic personal information. Access is limited to people who need it to serve you.
